[5SR] 5th Street Rounders Rules & Regulations

Mission Statement: Although we realize that "WSOP: 2008" is "just a videogame", 5th Street Rounders prefers
to think of it as a "poker simulation". Imagine... if you bought into the actual World Series of Poker for
$10,000 out of your own pocket, you were being filmed for a worldwide television audience, you were playing
against the greatest poker players in the world, you had your reputation on the line, your winnings could exceed
$1,000,000 and a WSOP Bracelet - HOW WOULD YOU PLAY? In [5SR], we ask that you play with that kind of mentality.
We realize that different players have different styles. Does your style have what it takes to win? Win, not just
by happenstance, but because you make good poker decisions. Win, because you know how to tip the odds in your
favor. Win, despite knowing that the "right play" does not always work out. Poker can be as frustrating as it is fun.
Good competition is both.

Please play with respect for the game, respect for your opponents and respect for the league.

[5SR] Poker: No donkeys, no drama, no disrespect.

1) No donkeys: Players who play without regard to our Mission Statement (above), do not play
with the necessary skill and/or knowledge of the game to make the game competitive, and/or
do not adhere to the basic rules of poker etiquette will not be invited to [5SR] tournaments.

2) No drama: Any player whose actions, on or off the poker table, take away from a fun
and positive atmosphere for any players involved will not be welcome to [5SR] tournaments.

3) No disrespect: Any comments (including text or voice messages) that are obviously disrespectful
and/or abusive that are directed by one player toward another have the following consequences:

a) 1st occasion: 1-day suspension
b) 2nd occasion: 1-week suspension
c) 3rd occasion: 1-month suspension
d) 4th occasion: 6-month suspension and review for banishment

4) Players that are new to [5SR] and/or have not established themselves in the group
are subject to immediate banishment (without suspension) for violating [5SR] rules.

5) One gamertag per 1 person. If you are playing under someone else's gamertag, you must let
the host (and your opponents) know before the game. Points go to the player, not the gamertag.

6) A player can not time out or auto-fold more than 5 hands in a row. This will result
in disqualification. You will be asked to properly quit out of the game immediately.

7) If a game needs to be restarted, previously eliminated players (including the host, if applicable)
can not participate (unless it is less than 30 minutes after the top of the starting hour, where a
free-for-all restart will be allowed). If the host is not eligible for the restart, he/she shall be
responsible for assigning a suitable replacement (most likely, another [5SR] host who is still in the game).

8) If the game is interrupted at final table, due to a freeze, the Top 5 chip leaders will
receive Top 5 points and the game will be declared over, no restart. A "final table freeze"
is defined as a situation where 9 or fewer players remain with chips and the host can still
access the Game Stats for each player's chip count, regardless if a merge has or has not occurred.

9) If the game crashes at the final table, where everybody drops or a freeze occurs where the host
can not access the Game Stats for each player's chip stacks, the chip leader receives 1 bonus
point and the game will be restarted with all remaining players with chips. If you wish to
receive points or participate in a possible restart, do not leave the game until you receive
confirmation from the host regarding the appropriate course of action (usually via Party Chat).

10) No table talk regarding hands still in play. This includes grunting, sighing or any
other vocal indications about what cards you may or may not have had in your hand.

11) Once game is started by host, it will not be restarted for late players, regardless of
situation. If you are going to be late, contact the host in advance and he/she can hold game
up to 5 minutes, at their discretion. There are no guarantees.

12) To insure an invitation to a tournament, please have all [5SR] hosts names on your friends
list. You should be online on Xbox LIVE with "WSOP: 2008" loaded before the start time.

13) "WSOP: 2008" has a limitation of 21 total players per tournament. If more than 21 players
are online at the start of a tournament, priority invites will be sent based on tenure in [5SR].

14) If an issue arises during a game, please send a text message to the tournament
host for the evening. Voice messages will be ignored for the good of the game.

15) All players must either have a live mic or their mic unplugged. Party chats are
not allowed unless there is no in-game communication and everybody at the table is invited.

16) Respect all players and avoid foul language. All general rules of poker etiquette apply.

17) Send any comments, questions, suggestions or complaints to twobithooligan@cox.net or
“TwoBitHooligan” on Xbox LIVE.

18) If you have to leave a game before you have lost all your money, please back out by
using the “Quit” option at the pause screen – do not try to give your money away by going
all-in or by using a play style that is not acceptable.

19) If you want to opt-in or opt-out of the [5SR] mailing list, please contact
TwoBitHooligan via email or Xbox LIVE text message. Being on the mailing list
is not required to participate in tournaments.

20) If you have any questions, comments or concerns about the website, other than
the calendar, the rules or the “Player of the Month” statistics, please contact
"Dj Lewis CA" on Xbox LIVE or califdj@gmail.com via email.

21) Player with most points at the end of the calendar month wins 1600 Microsoft Points.

22) Top 9 players at the end of the month are eligible to play in the [5SR] Bracelet Sit & Go on the
first Saturday of the following month. Winner of [5SR] Bracelet game receives 1600 Microsoft Points.

23) For most current info on [5SR] tournaments, please check the calendar on website.
You can click on individual dates on the calendar for more information.

24) In bounty games, if the bounty player is eliminated on a table that the host is not on,
please text the host if you earned the bonus bounty point. If the host does not receive
proper notification, the bounty point will be forfeited.

25) Unplug or mute mic before game launch to hopefully keep game from crashing,
dropping players or freezing. Also, if possible, please mute your mic (or avoid
talking) when merging tables, especially the final table. If you get eliminated
prior to the final table, we recommend that you leave the game to avoid problems.

26) If, as a single player, you drop, freeze or migrate out of a game, the situation is out
of our control. [5SR] hosts stay for the duration of the tournament and will not cause a
migration by leaving. [5SR] hosts are required to always have an "Open" NAT and test their
connection on a regular basis. NAT conflicts are the major problem with connection issues.

27) If a loss of connection happens in the Top 5, you will get points from the position dropped.
All players should ensure their best possible connection. You should always have an "Open" NAT.
"Moderate" or "Strict" NATs will cause all sorts of trouble when playing online.
We suggest that you run the "Xbox LIVE Connection Test" to check your NAT and recycle
the power on your modem and router (unplug from wall) on a regular basis.

Please check this link for more information: Fixing Xbox LIVE Connection Issues

28) If you are on the rail (eliminated, but watching) and game freezes, please exit game immediately.

29) Any form of collusion will not be tolerated and will result in DQ and banishment.

30) [5SR] is a private and non-sponsored group. Prizes and/or other donations are appreciated
but not required nor expected.

31) Game invites are by hosts only. If you have friends that want to play, please
contact the game's host.

32) Points – Top 5 players get points. 1st place gets 6 points, 2nd gets 4, 3rd gets 3,
4th gets 2 and 5th gets 1.

33) H.O.R.S.E. Points – Top 3 players get points (at each table).
1st place gets 5 points, 2nd gets 3, and 3rd gets 1.

34) In heads-up play, the two remaining players can agree to "chop" the pot and end the
game. They will split the points for the top 2 places in the tournament (5 each in a
regular tournament, 4 each in a H.O.R.S.E. tournament). The downside to chopping a pot
is that the game will not count as a 1st place finish if a any tie-breaker is required.

35) Each weekday is a unique 10-week tournament. Winner of 10-week tourney is
inducted into the [5SR] Hall of Fame. Some tournaments also include a prize
courtesy of the host. Check website calendar for details.

36) All points garnered in daily tournaments go towards “Player of the Month”,
except special games, including the [5SR] Bracelet game, that have eligibility
or limitation requirements.

37) Tie-breakers will be determined by the following criteria: 1) Most 1st place
finishes; 2) most 2nd place finishes; 3) most 3rd place finishes; 4) most 4th place
finishes; 5) heads-up playoff.

38) Players that win either [5SR] Player of the Month, the [5SR] Bracelet or earn a spot
in the [5SR] Hall of Fame will be eligible for the next [XME] Xbox LIVE Main Event. See
the "[XME] Xbox LIVE Main Event" page for more details.

39) Please, do not start playing in a [5SR] tournament unless you have every intention
of playing for the duration of the game with the goal of winning. If there is any other
poker tournament (game or group) you are interested in playing in during the normal window
of a [5SR] tournament, please, due us the favor of playing elsewhere to begin with.

See you at the tables… The Management
